Spray Tower with Reverse Absorption and Gas-Liquid Contact for Efficient Defogging Section in Industrial Purification

Exhaust gases containing various contaminants including dust, sulfur, acids, alkalis, and VOCs are treated through reverse absorption using a recovery liquid in a packed washing tower. The liquid is sprayed from the top of the tower in a fine mist, while exhaust gas enters from the bottom in a counter-flow configuration, enabling optimal gas-liquid contact.

This treatment method effectively cools exhaust gas temperatures, conditions the gas stream, and removes particulate matter. Following defogging section treatment, the purified gas is safely returned to the atmosphere. The absorbent is pressurized by a water pump at the tower base and distributed through spray nozzles at the top.
